Yeah, I would definitely go. Like I said, it’s awesome that they’re doing this and that people who never saw them before now can. Even still, it kind of goes against their legacy. I guess my feelings contradict each other.

</blockquote>

My feelings contradict each other too. I'm ecstatic they're doing these shows. I don't think this will interfere with their legacy. If they made another CD that would be a different story.

As awesome as it is that they are doing some shows together and everything, I can’t help but feel as if this reunion has blown any mystique the band once had. From my point of view, they were the revolutionary band of the ’90s that completely imploded and left a big “F*** you!” to pop culture in their wake. I kinda liked it that way.

“Rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in” is a line that comes to mind.

</blockquote>

I agree with everything you said. My opinion on the reunion is slightly skewed.

At first, they announced an overseas show or two. At that point, not only did I agree with everything you said, but I felt it as well. Once those Terminal 5 shows were announced, everything changed. I never had the opportunity to see them live, and now is my chance. Maybe if I had already seen them live, I'd think a little differently.

If you were in New York City, would you go to the show?

I was researching Brand New Sin (what happened to them etc) and came across this audio. This dude was a drunken mess on tour. So cool he got his act together and cleaned his life up. He appears down to earth in this interview and I'm glad he's still doing something he loves and this time getting paid.

I am kind of in awe at the worldwide positive response that they've received for reforming. As a fan yourself did you think they'd do this kind of interest and business?

Even if you want to view Refused through the eyes of the hardcore punk purist, you have to give them credit for creating a fresh landscape for this stagnant genre. I concur on the "masterpiece" comment. I will be at the Sunday show. \m/

I'm pretty sure that the reason KSE let Howard go is that Howard has been battling heavy alcoholism for the past few years. I was in rehab with him in Antigua April 2010 to May 2010 which is the reason behind his short break from the band then. While he successfully completed the program while I was there he was dealing with some pretty heavy issues, both physical and mental, as a result of severe alcohol abuse. I love Howard to death and I sincerely hope he gets back on the wagon right away. This is life and death my brother! Peace!!
