Interview with James Hart of Burn Halo

We at All Knowing Force love the first Burn Halo record. We at All Knowing Force love the new Burn Halo record even more. It’s harder, edgier, and ready to kick you in the face. Burn Halo’s second album, Up From The Ashes, is out NOW.

Interview with Cris Kirkwood of Meat Puppets

Our listeners are largely unfamiliar with this band. Darius raves about them, as well as their live show. Nirvana gave them the rub in the early 90′s and they had a huge hit with “Backwater” off Too High to Die. Cris is a 30 year veteran of the music business, battled addiction, been to prison, and has lived to tell about it. Enjoy!

Interview with Chimaira vocalist Mark Hunter

We touched on quite a bit, ranging from Mark quitting Chimaira for five minutes to Adema. I’m not a fan of interviews conducted in the middle of the day, but I will say, beyond a shadow of a doubt, this was effortless. Mark Hunter was an awesome guest. Great conversationalist, great personality, and one tremendous singer.

DC of Eye Empire Interview

DC was on our show last night and it was a great discussion. We learned a lot about everything Eye Empire and how they are going the extra mile for their fans during a difficult time for unsigned hard rock artists.

Moment of Impact lives up to expectations. It’s a complete DIY effort by Eye Empire so you likely won’t find it in stores. Buy the record from the band’s website and they’ll ship an autographed copy to you themselves.

We need to support good bands and good music wherever and whenever we can. This is a prime example of that. Eye Empire…. Check ‘em out.

dredg Interview & Concert Review!

Today, we did just that and spoke with lead singer Gavin Hayes. This interview is terrific because you hear the lead singer of a successful band, in the middle of a headlining tour, defiantly discussing the thought process before and after the release of its most polarizing album.

I will say that after this show and especially after speaking with Gavin, that I will be seeing dredg again down the road and will absolutely be looking forward to whatever their next move will be as a band. I like artists that are unafraid to take risks, no matter how bold.

Steven Adler Interview

I want you all to put your thoughts on Steven Adler aside and listen to this show. His energy and optimism is infectious, and it’s led me to give him a second chance. If I can be converted, believe me, all of you can.

Please also check out Darius’ live Adler’s Appetite review from the night after our broadcast (links inside).

Phil Lipscomb of Taproot Interview!

Thank you very much to all those who tuned in tonight for our live broadcast. I apologize to all those who were shut out from the stream. Along with the new site design, we’re also going to be upgrading and expanding our live streaming capabilities. No one will be getting shut out once all the methods are implemented. Phil Lipscomb was an awesome guest. We apologize for getting started late. It was out of our control.

Interview with Volbeat Guitarist Thomas Bredahl

This might rub some people the wrong way, but I don’t care. The fact that Volbeat has not conquered the United States is a disgrace, and is a testament to the very reason the music industry is failing. Back in the late 90′s, a band called System Of A Down went from being a club support act to headlining arenas and festivals on their Toxicity album. They were a fresh, unique sound. A chance was taken, and it paid off. Volbeat has an even more fresh, unique sound and yet they’re hard-pressed to get a U.S. push by anyone other than Jose Mangin at Sirius. This is disgusting. This is disgraceful.

Interview with Stephen Pearcy of Ratt Archived!

Stephen Pearcy is the man. I grew up on his music and still crank it at deafening volumes to this day. It was an honor to have him on the program. We spoke about the current state of Ratt, his upcoming solo tour, his upcoming solo record, and so much more.
