I've been a fan and supporter of Royal Bliss for many, many years. When I think of this ban, the words "criminally ignored" comes to mind. They constantly grind out some of the most consistent, hooky, melodic rock on the planet - completely devoid of pretentiousness and Nickelback-Shinedown-esque jingles. Their eighth studio album, Waiting Out The Storm, was released January 24th and features the awesome balled "Crazy." Take a couple of minutes and investigate these guys. You won't be sorry.

Now, a decade and a half later, I’m talking to him about Puppet, the second album from his current band, The Dreaming. You'll find this show strays from the interview format and is more of a conversation. I'm sure you'll all enjoy it. -AB

Outside of that, I'm mostly impressed with Jay's articles on the music industry They identify problems, and unlike most articles on the subject, propose reasonable, viable, and practical solutions. He also possesses a much better voice for radio than yours truly, but that's a discussion for another day.

Chad Hanks joined us live to talk about this development, as well as a potential new album. This show clocks in at two hours. This isn't an interview, more like three guys sitting at a bar where one of the three just has more interesting stuff to say. Ville Friman and his band Insomnium's fifth album, One For Sorrow, will see an October 18th, 2011 United States release on Century Media. So, there's a lot of typical rock radio questions, and really nothing is said here that hasn't been said a million times before. I'm glad to hear they're going to have a much larger budget for their fourth record. Hopefully, those extra funds will go towards the marketing of quality songs.
