The Flobots – Horrendous

Apparently, this band, The Flobots, are the In-Thing
I value Mr. Darius’ opinion, so I sent him an e-mail and asked him if he knew of any good music I could research online. I also sent a colleague the same e-mail, and both replied back with The Flobots. I now know I have two people dear to me that need a physchiatric evaluation. Please, someone, anyone, tell me how this crap is tolerable. Then, to make matters worse, I see this band actually has fans. And lots of them. Like, millions of them.
Apparently, this is good music. They’re sending some sort of message, but I don’t like messages in my music, just like I never liked the alphabet in my soup.

I will save you. All of you. When you thought good music was dead… I bring you a tremendous live cover of Kashmir by Alter Bridge. It will erase that horse crap you had to endure with the above video. If anyone you’re dating owns that Flobots record, dump them and dump them fast.
Other Interesting Things...
Actually I kinda liked that song. The climax was too much, should’ve raised his voice instead of increasing the repetition, but I def. like the trumpet. Forget the message- I see what they were going for, but the music did not reflect it along with the lyrics, kind of killing it. Cool video.
That second video was a corruption of a beautiful thing.

I’m happy to see the site relaunched and refreshing to see a new person with musical taste has been added. The Flobots are sick and I look forward to hearing Darius’ commentary on music. Someone at the least knows what they’re talking about.
