Jacob Bannon of Converge – Rungs in a Ladder Documentary Review

I would like to commence by stating I am not a fan of Converge. I’ve tried, and believe me, I’ve tried, to “get it.” In the past, I fully admit to making comments about his lyrics, such as, “He sounds like a barking dog.”

This 12-minute documentary, Rungs in a Ladder, is absolutely fantastic. I’d go as far as to say it’s flawless. A truly inspirational piece.

This is the type of piece that really makes me rethink my role in the media. Perhaps instead of joking about how a dog could bark his lyrics, maybe I should have had the guy on the show to talk about his life. Bottom line, this is awesome. It definitely make me rethink the way I approach All Knowing Force.
