Thank you very much to all the listeners who tuned in to the show live on Tuesday, February 9th, 2010. We appreciate it very much.

Nonpoint

On the show Elias commented that they are celebrating a decade of Nonpoint, which made me realize, we’re celebrating a half decade of All Knowing Force.

Also, we’d like to thank Elias for taking the time to speak with us to promote their upcoming tour with Cold, their upcoming record Miracle, and much more.

Personally, I have been exposed to Nonpoint, but I’ve never really exposed myself to them (wow can this sentence be read an entirely different way). Sure, I’ve listened to them here and there, but definitely will further acquaint myself with their music in the coming weeks. Elias was an awesome guest. I mean, he was extremely personable, didn’t hold anything back, and after a decade appears to be as passionate as he was when the band first started. You can’t help but respect that.

“Elias Soriano from Nonpoint joined us last night and this was undoubtedly one of our finest spots. For one thing, we didn’t have any audio trouble. But primarily Elias was a terrific guest; he didn’t hold back and he offered an intelligent and unbridled insight into the band as well as the music industry as a whole.

It’s no secret that I’m a Nonpoint super-fan so I was really pumped to co-host this interview. My job was to help spread the word about a band that has been around for quite sometime and has persevered despite the ever-changing music industry. Most of the bands that broke around the same time cease to exist. Thankfully, Nonpoint continues to release incredible music time and time again.

I would like to encourage everyone to check out the Nonpoint catalog. They’ve put out plenty of records and a live DVD that you should be banging your head to. However, the mark of a great band is in its live performance, and to that regard, Nonpoint brings the pain. Go check them out this year with Cold and you won’t be disappointed.
